Holger Sircoulomb

Holger Sircoulomb is the Managing Member of The Management Advantage Consultancy cc (The MAC), a Namibian HR Consultancy. The MAC is proud to be associated with the HayGroup South Africa (specifically the Job Evaluation Manager) and Thomas International. Holger has had 19 years of experience in the field of human resource management, of which six years were gained in the mining industry, seven years in the private/retailing industry, and consulting/private practice for six years.   He is experienced in all aspects of human resource management, in particular the areas of industrial relations, dispute resolution, and training and development

Professional Expertise

Holger commenced his professional career as a Personnel Trainee with the Anglo American Gold Division and was based on the Free State mines. During his six years on the mines, he experienced the mining culture and its diverse human resource management requirements across its entire spectrum. In the private/retailing sector Holger used the intensive schooling received at Anglo America to further his career up to the point where he felt ready to pursue his desire to be self-employed as a private consultant. As an HR/IR consultant, Holger has successfully provided services to the mining industry, the Olthaver and List Group, the entire banking sector in Namibia, Karas Abattoir and Tannery Processors (Pty) Ltd, Pupkewitz Group, parastatals, Ministries, hospitality industry, and a host of smaller businesses in the private market.

Education/Professional Affiliations

Holger has an MBA from the University of Stellenbosch.  He also has a National Higher Diploma in Personnel Management and a postgraduate Diploma in Law (Conciliation and Arbitration) through the Universities of Cape Town, Lesotho, and Namibia.  Holger is a full member of the Institute of People Management and has presented numerous papers at their annual convention in Namibia.
